Dear Sewers,

Spring is here - with it new sets of patterns to go along!
Lately I've been focusing on the winter influenced & based design for the bags & shoes, however now that the weather is finally turning up I was feeling to do some spring greetings! First up I decided to to make a blouse for my neighbor's kids! As the mother of teenage kids & another one in University, it's a nostalgic to live around growing toddlers again.

The Maddie Baby Peasant Blouse was inspired by the little ones next door & I wanted to make a separate dress  for them matching the spring season.

Too many failed samples later, the Aria Bag!

Dear Sewers,

Well after many failed samples, I present to you the Aria Bag! The pattern design actually came relatively quick to me however the sample is what took me so long to complete. The first choice of fabric, which I honestly thought was perfect at the time, turned out to look too drained out. Not only that, but the leather & the fabric conflicted too much.

This left me in a slight dilemma. Do I switch out the fabric as a whole or change the color of leather? It really took me a long time to decide, but in the end it worked out with the yellow fabric with a bird pattern on it! I'm proud on how this project turned out as whole - I hope you won't have to go through what I did. Try matching the two material choices and stare at it for a good 30 seconds. This usually helps me choose the right colors for the pattern!

Update & Re-release - the Beatrice Metal Clutch !
The Beatrice Metal Clutch was a small & stylish project released around last year. After a small time out in the public, I took it out due to some revisions that were required for the instructions. Now, after a full year the pattern is back with new samples & instructions!

Dorris Baby Dress Pattern (6m. to 24m.) - 2 years in the making!

Dear Sewers,

I first completed this pattern in around August 2013 and uploaded the product hoping to literally release it "soon". However, (life) happened and ultimately the pattern was booted down the priority list. Now in 2015 it's back!

But what rescued the pattern from it's purgatory? Throughout the 2 years the pattern has been uploaded on my site, I've received countless inquires regarding the pattern as to when exactly is the "coming soon". Since it was a dress pattern with so much interest, I just couldn't ignore the outcry for the release!

I hope the dress meets everyone's expectations as the pattern is finally out!

Edna Metal Clutch Metal - It's Back!

Yes the pattern is alive! First released in the February of 2013, it went back into the "coming soon" section for some revisions & since then it's been M.I.A. However, after my decision to start on the Dorris Baby Dress I've also revisited the Edna Metal Clutch and give it a new breath of life! Phew, that's a lot of old work coming back at once this week!
