Dear Sewers,
Many people come to me for sewing lessons & advice, but a great number of them also happen to be children. And to find the suitable first project was always the most difficult decision.
When I taught children how to sew, for the most part, it was their first time to even hold a needle. This made the teaching a harder task and the challenge was to make sewing an enjoyable activity yet still introduce the kid’s to the activity. Introducing the world of sewing to little ones was a tall order.
And boy was it a difficult task to complete! I believe I’ve gotten close to my answer and I hope you all feel the same as well. Starting this week I’ll be releasing Kid’s Sewing Kits through iThinkSew for young children! Starting from kindergarten to elementary, kits for a variety of age groups will be prepared! Please look out for future releases every week.
And the sewing kits are also great for first time adults as well! Or maybe you want to gift it as well? Either way please look forward to the kit releases!
